Football beats Dallastown and becomes division I champions

Red Lion football won the Division I title last Friday. That’s now the third Red Lion fall sports team that’s won the Division I title this 2018 season. 

Red Lion, Central York, and William Penn all began the day with a 5-1 divisional record and any of the three could’ve been champions. After a 17-10 victory over cross town rivals Dallastown the team advanced to 6-1 in the division and celebrated winning their share of the YAIAA 
Division I title.

While a win for Red Lion secured them a share of the title Central York and William Penn battled for the other half of the title. William Penn beat Central York and became co regular season champions with Red Lion.

The Lions will head to Wilson this Friday to take on the 7-3 bulldogs in the first round of districts for a spot in the next
